The miracle of the rough nights, the time between the times in which one is particularly connected to the higher worlds, as the dimensions are particularly open during this time and the veil into the other world is particularly thin and permeable. Less thinking, more feeling, sensing and guessing. In fact, the magic of the rough nights can only be discovered with the heart and never from the head.

What are the rough nights?

The rough nights have been associated with a special myth since ancient times and are part of Central European spirituality. They are the time between the winter solstice and January 6th. Just a few generations ago, the rough nights were one of the traditional highlights of the year for many people. On dark, cold winter days there was plenty of opportunity to set a new course for the future. And above all, there was the opportunity to make contact with the world of ancestors, spirits and natural beings by listening and feeling and to “interpret the signs” and to oracle.
The twelfths arise from the difference between the solar and lunar years. A solar year (solar year) consists of 365 days, a lunar year (lunar year) consists of 354 days. The twelve holy nights are no longer part of the old year, but they are not yet part of the new year either. They are a gift outside the usual space-time structure and are therefore unsettling, mysterious and mystical.

Every day we will meditate, burn incense, spend time together in nature and perform energetic actions. We use this mysterious threshold time to pause and look back and at the same time forward. We turn to ourselves and deal with customs and rituals.
We create an atmosphere that allows us to connect with our center and gain important insights regarding our heart’s desires and decisions. Anyone who consciously celebrates these nights can set the course for the coming year.
