A little history – what meaning my Alp A Òra has for me

Nowhere do I feel more at home than on my Alp. In difficult phases of my life, I experienced peace and support here and found my way back to myself. Here I have come a little closer to the true meaning of life. Freed from outside influences and completely at home with myself, I found answers for myself in nature.
My heart belongs here. This is where I am at home.

As a little girl of five, I spent my summers and most of my holidays on the Alps with my family. I played with the stones in front of the barn, with the hazel bush at the bottom of the border wall and with the chestnut blossoms in late summer. For us children it was a mystery, sitting on the warm stones at dusk on warm summer evenings, waiting for the fireflies to appear. Thousands of shining dots that move gently in the air through the forest and the grass in the meadow, mystical and mysterious at the same time. We watched the bats and marveled at their acrobatic aerobatics. We were filled with excitement and admiration at the way the bats locate their food. The noise the bats make still fascinates me today.

My grandfather lived on the alp and became a legend throughout the mountain as «the hermit». He carved the stone fountain in front of the alpine hut from a single monolith. In addition to his vegetable garden, he built a pool for us children with a “sandy beach” next door. During the renovation work in 2015, we found a letter from grandfather from 1977, where he described the condition of the cascina (alpine hut) at the time and documented the maintenance work. I inherited this beautiful alp a few years ago. Now it is my heart’s desire that people who appreciate this way of truly being can take part in this magical, wonderful place. The fact that my ancestors lived here and their energy can still be felt encourages me in what I do. Book an event and take a new path into your wonderful life with me!

The starting point to the Alp is 40 minutes from Locarno and 40 minutes from Lugano and is located in the Ticino municipality of Riviera. There is free parking available directly at the foot of the mountain. Alternatively, you can also take the train to Bellinzona.

My events are deliberately exclusively one-to-one and not online via computer.

I consciously decided to use “you” as the salutation on my website because my offers are designed to be very individual and very personal.
